Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to flooring, drywall, and appliances, as well as troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety, and security systems.
  • Grounds and Aesthetics: Maintain the grounds, curbs, and property aesthetics to ensure compliance with our Curb Appeal Policies.
  • Unit Turnovers: Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant apartments to ensure proper operating conditions and appearance upon move-in.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment owned by the apartment community, including proper storage and maintenance of maintenance shops and storage rooms.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification, preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English; basic computer skills; and ability to wear a respirator.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations.
