Senior Facilities Engineer

Bosch Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Staff Facilities Engineer to join our team in Roseville, CA. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, maintenance, modification, construction, modernization, design and protection of physical facilities and equipment used to produce quality products.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with vendors to start up and install new equipment at Bosch Roseville.
- Develop and implement designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of material for major maintenance, facility improvements, and other projects.
- Modify existing equipment and systems to improve efficiency, safety, reliability, capacity, and cost effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot problems with facility systems and develop corrective action proposals and recommendations.
- Provide standard operating procedures and specifications governing the operation and maintenance of facility systems and equipment.
- Develop installation packages for the hook-up, demolition, or relocation of production equipment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, statutes, and codes; securing all required permits; and coordinating with appropriate local authorities.
- Initiate and implement continuous improvement programs using metrics and reporting systems.
- Train facilities mechanics as needed on systems to improve 24x7 response time.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent in education and 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and manuals.
- Ability to create and maintain operating and training documents and manuals.
- Strong communications skills with various audiences from vendors to fellow engineers to operators.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications—Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience in design, operation, and troubleshooting HVAC, water treatment, control systems, or chemical systems.
- Control systems troubleshooting experience.
- Work experience in a clean room desired.
