Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with leaders and stakeholders to create, enhance, and refine standard and ad-hoc pharmacy reports, identifying trends to support informed decision-making.
  • Assist pharmacy leadership in researching industry trends to formulate sustainable models for pharmacy care delivery.
  • Design custom dashboards and reports using advanced technologies and data visualization tools, including Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Access.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to pharmacy analysts.
  • Encourage skill development among team members in the use of business intelligence tools.
  • Establish guidelines and protocols to standardize data management processes within the pharmacy, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Conduct data validation and integrity checks to uphold data quality.
  • Support users in meeting their expectations during data reviews.
  • Deliver training to users and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with relevant departments to identify opportunities for enhancing data management and analytics.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address analytics needs and facilitate user training.
  • Ensure regular and punctual attendance in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Pursue professional development through participation in relevant seminars and workshops.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Lead projects aimed at improving efficiency, performance, and return on investment.

Qualifications

Education/Training

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Expertise in Power BI is essential.
  • Experience with SQL and database reporting software is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SQL Server and related platforms is necessary.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy-specific software (e.g., Epic Willow, Omnicell) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of analytical or statistical software (R, Python) is a plus.
Licensure/Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Experience
  • A minimum of five years of data management and analysis experience, with one to two years in a supervisory role, is required.
  • Experience in healthcare and pharmacy settings is preferred.
