Job Summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a skilled Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary to provide exceptional support to patients, families, and professional staff on the 2 East Medicine Unit at Cary Hospital. This dynamic role requires a team player who can deliver patient-centered care, communicate effectively, and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial support to patients, families, and staff, ensuring efficient customer-oriented service delivery.
  • Support and incorporate WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model, delivering patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and staff to ensure dignity, respect, information sharing, participation, and collaboration in care delivery.
  • Understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, vision, values, and aspirational goals of WakeMed.
Requirements
  • 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college courses in nurse aide required.
  • Nurse Aide I certification required.
Work Schedule

0645-1915 hours, with every third weekend and call requirements.
