Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager in Training to join our team at CAVA - Waldorf MD - Shops at Waldorf. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of restaurant staff, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer has a positive and memorable experience, by providing exceptional service, responding to customer feedback, and implementing process improvements.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, scheduling, and labor control.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic plans to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, with a proven track record of success in leading and developing teams.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams; excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences; strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
