Job Summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Resiliency Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising customers on technical and analytical approaches, force design, systems engineering, and development of systems and capabilities for customers.

You will develop analytic plans and define analytic tasks needed to understand missile warning/missile tracking and space control mission needs and refine force designs. You will also support government development and demonstration of capabilities that advance the state of the art in systems from concept through prototyping, acquisition, testing, and into operations.

As a Senior Systems Resiliency Engineer, you will work across space mission and program boundaries to identify common program challenges and risks, provide enterprise recommendations, and lead issues to closure. You will identify needed expertise and lead analytic teams from Aerospace Engineering and Technology Group (ETG) technical specialists to address customers' key technical hard questions and challenges through data-driven analysis.

You will work closely and effectively with external partners in integrated product teams that include government, contractor, and FFRDC members as an architectural thinker and thought leader. You will communicate effectively with all levels of corporate management through timely reporting of technical issues and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising customers on technical and analytical approaches, force design, systems engineering, and development of systems and capabilities for customers.

  • Supporting government development and demonstration of capabilities that advance the state of the art in systems from concept through prototyping, acquisition, testing, and into operations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, applicable in engineering, mathematics, or technical science.
  • 12 or more years of experience in relevant technical experience in missile warning/missile tracking and/or space control systems development and acquisition, analysis, operations, and/or program management.
  • Current knowledge of Space Control system technologies, capabilities, acquisition, and an understanding of space and ground system development.
  • Familiarity with space OPIR systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, deal with ambiguity, and work within a dynamic environment where priorities may change.
  • Proven ability to lead technical analyses and lead teams.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Active Secret security clearance; eligible for Top Secret SCI and SAP/SAR.
