Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, installation, and quality assurance of Information Systems (IS) and Data Center facilities for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and operate On-Prem Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for the customer, including troubleshooting, break fix activities, and system audit log reviews.
  • Perform actions as a Nutanix Administrator on Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) platform.
  • Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers.
  • Work across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware.
  • Design and document installation and configuration solutions.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for USSPACECOM J6X team.
Requirements:
  • 3 years minimum experience as Senior Systems Engineer supporting a DOD program of similar size and scope.
  • Active Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) certification.
  • 5 years minimum of hands-on professional experience as Data Center Engineer working with SDWAN or Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
  • 3 years minimum of hands-on professional experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field.
  • Possess IAT/IAM Level II or greater.
