Job Summary

ENSCO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command's MILSATCOM Program through the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, plan, coordinate, execute testing and provide terminal operations support on the Family of Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T), Air Force Command Post Terminal (AFCPT), Time Distribution Subsystem Pre Processor (TDSPP), Milstar Messaging System (MMS), Global Broadcast Service (GBS), Ground Multi-band Terminal (GMT), and other systems, subsystems, and MILSATCOM devices.
  • Provide engineering and technician-level support for each of the above systems, including integration, communication circuit troubleshooting, and system-level anomaly resolution.
  • Identify and isolate software or hardware defects to evaluate/assess system modifications for shortfalls or interoperability issues and provide technical assessments to the client with regards to the modifications.
  • Author and deliver technical documentation including test plans, test procedures, system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, technical white papers, and test reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or equivalent technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of DoD/USSF test processes and documentation and Operational Test (OT) experience supporting a DoD Operational Test Agency or Organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability working with MILSATCOM equipment and trouble shooting.
  • Demonstrated ability working with employing handling procedures for Communications Security (COMSEC) materials and devices.
  • Must be a motivated, self-starter capable of autonomous on-the-job learning/improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
  • Supported the Mission Subsystem (MPSS) module dependencies for test design, detailed test procedure development, test execution, and reporting.
  • Identified and isolated software or hardware defects to evaluate/assess system modifications for shortfalls or interoperability issues and provided technical assessments to the client with regards to the modifications.
  • Authored and delivered technical documentation including test plans, test procedures, system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, technical white papers, and test reports.
  • DoD TOP SECRET Security Clearance.
