Occupational Therapist Job Summary

Life Care Center of Kennewick is a leading provider of long-term care and post-acute services, renowned for its exceptional customer service, high-quality nursing and therapy services, and high employee morale and retention. We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a Full-Time, PRN, or PRN float pool position. Float Associates will work between both Life Care Center of Kennewick and Richland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Participate in community health matters and projects as appropriate.
  • Utilize therapy software to accurately document patient progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • NBCOT certification upon hire, with optional renewal.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT).
  • Current registration/licensure in applicable State, with a commitment to maintaining an active license in good standing throughout employment.
  • One (1) year experience in post-acute care or a related setting preferred.
  • CPR certification upon hire or during orientation, with ongoing maintenance.
