Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Sigma Health Rehab. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong background in Occupational Therapy, and a passion for improving the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate residents and develop a treatment plan that meets their needs.
  • Choose activities that enable residents to perform daily tasks independently.
  • Monitor residents as they carry out assigned tasks.
  • Observe and assess residents' progress, preparing detailed reports accordingly.
  • Help rehabilitate residents with disabilities resulting from injury, illness, or other issues.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Ensure resident confidentiality by processing sensitive information securely.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of resident care services by auditing records.
  • Contribute to a team effort by maintaining a cooperative relationship with healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current Florida State Occupational Therapy License.
  • Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
