About the Role

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Winter Springs, Florida. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient care needs and develop personalized therapy plans to address functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, and other occupational therapy needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other healthcare team members.
  • Conduct patient assessments, evaluate functional status, and consult with physicians to develop therapy plans.
  • Record and report patient progress to nurse supervisors and physicians.
Requirements
  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
