Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior HIV Prevention Specialist to join our San Francisco Downtown territory. As a key member of our team, you will represent Gilead's products and services to healthcare providers, focusing on generating and growing sales by consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets within your defined geographic area.

About the Role

Your primary responsibilities will include building strong relationships with healthcare providers, delivering timely disease awareness information, clinical updates, and education on healthcare changes. You will establish a deep understanding of Gilead's products, competitive products, and the complexities associated with the therapeutic area's disease state.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of effectively interacting with healthcare professionals. Additionally, you will be expected to model and uphold Gilead's compliance standards and ethical behavior, ensuring adherence to regulatory agency, state, federal, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disease Awareness and Education: Provide timely and accurate information to healthcare providers about Gilead's products, competitor products, and disease states.
  • Territory Business Plan: Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan that meets customer needs and achieves sales goals.
  • Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with local cross-functional colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience through access, acquisition, administration, and operational support with Gilead products.
  • External Partnerships: Partner with healthcare organizations and partner companies to enhance product reach and drive sales results.

  • Multi-Product Experience: Experience managing a multiple product portfolio.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma and nine years of experience OR Associates degree and seven years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and five years of experience OR Master's degree and three years of experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to engage in travel as may be reasonably required.

Salary Range: $112,710.00 - $145,860.00
