Compensation Package

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with quality procedures and documentation.

Process Improvement

The ideal candidate will identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. This includes:

  • Analyzing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Quality Control

The successful Quality Engineer will establish and enforce quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting inspections and tests to verify product conformance to specifications.
  • Leading root cause analysis investigations for non-conformances, customer complaints, and other quality-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality engineering within the aerospace manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards, such as AS9100.
  • Familiarity with precision machining processes and inspection techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of quality tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • ASQ certification (e.g., CQE) is a plus.
