Aerospace Quality Professional

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our aerospace products.
Key Responsibilities:- Review design drawings and changes, operation sheets, process procedures, test procedures, procurement documents, quality manuals, and inspection analyses to ensure compliance with division and customer quality requirements
- Support the contract review process
- Interpret AS9100C, ISO9001:2008, ASQR-01, and other customer, material, or process specifications
- Perform internal audits
- Provide quality support to the Engineering group with NPI and analysis of nonconforming parts
- Interact with the Customer Service Department to resolve customer issues
- Respond to customer CAR requests with appropriate and effective process improvements
- Generate quality metrics and review quality trends to mitigate process risk and institute process improvements
- Measure and monitor supplier performance
- Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action utilizing tools such as 8D and 5 Why's
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering and experience working in the aerospace industry.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
