- Designs and implements nutritional care strategies for adult and elderly patients.
- Recommends supplements, snacks, calorie tracking, and consistency modifications tailored to each patient's medical needs.
- Incorporates current evidence-based research into clinical practice.
- Acts as a liaison among the Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, and other Support Departments.
- This role involves travel between various locations and collaboration with:
- A board-certified family and obesity medicine expert with over 15 years of experience.
- She provides specialized care for individuals facing overweight and obesity challenges, addressing the growing obesity crisis, a significant contributor to various health issues and rising healthcare expenses.
- Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, she assists patients in achieving their optimal weight through nutrition, physical activity, behavioral changes, medications, and surgical options as necessary.
- She is committed to developing personalized plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
- B.S. degree in Foods and Nutrition, along with a Dietetic Internship or equivalent training.
- Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
- Current licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.
