About the Role

Cedar Point is seeking a skilled Car Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our vehicle fleet and equipment in a safe and reliable condition.

Job Description

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company vehicles or equipment. This will include operating tow trucks, service trucks, and wreckers safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain company vehicle fleet and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Respond to guest service calls and perform repairs as directed.
  • Operate tow trucks and know how to tow vehicles safely.
  • Operate service trucks in response to guest issues, including vehicle lock outs, flat tires, and out of gas.
  • Provide exceptional guest service according to Cedar Point standards when serving guests.
  • Perform related automotive and light truck service work as directed.
  • Work any shift or days assigned.
  • Select adequate tools to perform basic repairs and service work.
  • Operate 4 or 8 ton wreckers and know how to tow vehicles safely.
  • Follow all company safety rules and policies, and ensure equipment is properly secured before maintenance work is performed.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • An ASE certification in auto repair is preferred.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Possess a clean driving record.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience. Additional benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
