Position Description

Contribute to the Naval Sea Systems Command Code 03S (NAVSEA 03S) Digital Industrial Operations (DIO) initiatives focused on IT services supporting the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) Program.

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize extensive experience and sound judgment to strategize and achieve objectives.
- May oversee and guide the efforts of team members.
- Engage in a variety of intricate project tasks related to specialized technological challenges.
- Tasks involve the integration of electronic processes or methodologies to address comprehensive system or technological issues.
- Employ analytical and systematic methods to resolve challenges related to workflow, organization, and planning.
- Provide direction and support to system engineers in applying systems engineering principles to solve secure systems design challenges.

Qualifications:

- Familiarity with a wide range of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
- In-depth knowledge of LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, network protocols, and other security and network operations, including monitoring, vulnerability analysis, PKI, data encryption, key management, data warehousing, and data mining capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field or a related area.

Experience:
Background in IT and Cybersecurity.

Work Environment:

Standard Office Environment. Involves Sitting, Standing, Near Acuity, Communication with colleagues and clients, Listening, Visual tasks, and Manual dexterity.
