Job Title: Medical Information Specialist

Company Mindlance is seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Information Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and dissemination of medical information scientific content and materials to payers, healthcare intermediaries, and health systems across our assigned pharmaceutical IM portfolio of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and timely dissemination of tailored, evidence-based scientific materials for assigned therapeutic area products.
  • Member of the multi-disciplinary team tasked with reviewing and approving of payer regulated content prior to it being used.
  • Support the development of AMCP standard and pre-approval dossiers, Medicaid formulary requests, and custom requests working collaboratively with Medical Affairs and Real-World Value & Evidence (RW V&E) therapeutic area leads.
  • Engage in shaping and development of the payer digital assets in collaboration with Med Info CSI-Digital partners.
  • Work closely with RW V&E Field, Medical Affairs Therapeutic Area team(s) and Medical Information Scientific Engagement Contact Center to guide creation and delivery of responses to unsolicited medical information requests from payers and health systems.
  • Support interactions with drug compendia and collaborate with AD, Med Info PHS and business partners to evaluate strategies for compendia interactions.
  • Ensure optimized delivery of high-quality and efficient payer scientific content and materials by vendors, provides real-time feedback and first-line scientific review of materials as needed.
Requirements:
  • MS or equivalent in Pharmacy or related science field required.
  • Advanced Degree (e.g., PharmD) or PhD is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in Medical Information or Health Economics and Outcomes Research or specialized postdoctoral training in Medical Information or Health Economics and Outcomes Research.
  • Expertise in the healthcare industry, clinical knowledge or practice across multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Excellence in leadership skills, collaboration in a matrix environment, influencing and communication (both written and presentation) is required.
  • Expertise working in a matrix environment with cross-functional teams required.
  • Customer Focus - drives excellent customer service and exhibits understanding of healthcare landscape.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of United States healthcare systems and payers - specifically understanding business models and perspectives of managed care and public sector.
