Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team at Parrish Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular services department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the achievement of strategic goals and objectives for the continued growth and success of assigned functional area(s).
  • Provide excellent patient, family, visitor, and internal customer experiences as measured by CMS, HCAHPS, and/or other national best-practice service benchmarks.
  • Ensure national best/leading practice standards for continuous quality improvement and patient safety as measured by CMS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory agencies pertinent to areas of responsibility.
  • Adhere to all Parrish Healthcare policies and procedures as well as regulations and codes established by federal, state, and local government affecting professional practice and industry regulations.
  • Perform coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures, non-ablation electrophysiology interventional procedures, and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Administer medications according to policy and training, and function appropriately in clinical emergencies.
  • Facilitate timely patient throughput and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required with vocational or other technical school, certification, or training required beyond high school in one or more of the following areas: Cardiovascular, Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, Respiratory Therapy, Radiological Technology, EMS.
  • 0 to < 1 years of work experience, with previous Interventional Cardiology experience preferred.
  • Must possess upon hire and maintain one of the following: Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)], Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Cardiovascular Therapist (CVT), Paramedic or EMT Licensure.
  • Current BLS through the American Heart Association required, and ACLS through the American Heart Association or obtain within 3 months of hire.
