About the Role

Willdan is seeking a skilled Building Inspector to join our team in the Malibu, CA area. As a Building Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of buildings and structures in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, industrial, and other buildings during and after construction to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Read and interpret building plans and specifications to identify potential issues and ensure compliance.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must have ICC Certification(s) and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building inspection or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in a municipal setting is highly desirable.
