Job Description
The ASL Program Coordinator will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of ASL services. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the ASL interpreting program.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage ASL interpreters.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients requiring ASL services.
- Monitor and assess the quality of ASL interpreting services provided.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and a deep understanding of Deaf culture.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing ASL interpreting services or similar language programs.
