About Your Next Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 3D Designer to join our team at HTC Creative Labs. As a key member of our design organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of AR/VR/XR experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D design, with a proven track record of creating innovative and engaging experiences. You will be responsible for leading a team of designers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up-to-date with the latest creative trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of our design culture and process.
  • Collaborate with designers to create immersive VR user experiences.
  • Lead 3D, visual, and interaction designers to help illustrate design concepts.
  • Help translate concept art into 3D experiences.
  • Partner with strategy peers to ensure insight-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with outside teams to deliver HTC's vision.
  • Stay current with new and emerging digital technologies.
  • Deliver strategic presentations.
  • Initiate new workflows and optimize existing processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Architecture or Industrial Design.
  • Experience providing direction on visual, creative, technical execution, and strategy.
  • Experience with UX design.
  • Proficient in Keyshot or other 3D rendering software.
  • Proficient in Rhino, Grasshopper, or other CAD software.
  • Experience with Figma for ideation and brainstorming.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite for video editing and presentation.
  • Strong design fundamentals and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in an Agency, Creative, or B2B environment.
  • UX/UI skills for AR/VR.
  • Experience with Unreal 4/5, Unity 3D, or equivalent engine exposure.
  • Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, and Houdini.

Working Conditions:

  • Primary work location is indoors.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and long periods of detailed work with VR equipment.
