We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in Bangor, Maine. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your professional horizons while working with a dynamic and supportive healthcare team.
About the JobAs an Advanced Respiratory Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients with diverse conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Perform pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
