Your Role:


As an Investment Consultant at Coastal, you will leverage your sales expertise and relationship-building skills to assist our members in recognizing their financial aspirations and requirements.

Your responsibilities will include assessing their financial situations, collecting relevant information, and analyzing that data to formulate and present tailored recommendations for suitable insurance and/or investment solutions.

You will serve as an employee of Coastal while also functioning as a dual employee/agent of CUSO Brokerage Services, Inc. (CFS) and/or Members Trust Company (MTC). Securities licenses are maintained by CFS and MTC.

Your Contributions:
Formulating and executing an annual business strategy while ensuring a strong presence in the assigned branches.

Employing our established sales methodology as you engage with members to uncover their financial objectives, needs, and plans.

Subsequently, based on your financial assessments and strategies, you will prepare and present your recommendations for the acquisition of appropriate insurance and/or investment products that align with the members' requirements.


Maintaining client relationships by conducting annual reviews to discuss their goals, needs, and any changes in their circumstances or available products and services.

Building connections with SEG's and community organizations to enhance our visibility and business outcomes.

Facilitating seminars in-branch or at SEG locations.


Collaborating with fellow advisory team members, the Planning Specialist, and departmental support staff to fulfill the needs of our members/clients.

An individual who is passionate about providing financial guidance and remains informed about the latest strategies in the industry.

Interested candidates should possess:

Experience:
A minimum of five years in sales or advisory roles within the securities brokerage, advisory, or insurance sectors.

Education:
A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Insurance, or equivalent professional experience.

FINRA series 7, 63/65 (or 66).

NC Life, Long-term Care Insurance, and Medicare Supplement licenses.

CFP designation preferred.
