We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Holiday Companies. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager: Provide support to the Store Manager in overseeing the store's operations, including hiring, supervising, and training staff.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive fast and friendly service, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Store Operations: Assist with maintaining the store's appearance, including merchandising, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift.
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift.
  • Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands.
