We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Care team at Christus Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide routine and complex care to patients in the Emergency Department, demonstrating an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation.
- Practice independently and make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed.
- Develop and implement long-range goals or plans for patient care, and continue to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing.
- Maintain current certifications and licenses, including BLS, RN License, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, and Moderate Sedation.
- Participate in evidence-based triage curriculum and arrhythmia recognition training.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred.
- Critical Care/Emergency Department experience, preferred.
- BLS required.
- RN License in state of employment or compact.
- Current certifications and licenses, as listed above.
This is a full-time position in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
