Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Jr. Sous Chef / Line Cook to join our team at The Grove Cucina & Wine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Excellence: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to our menu standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
  • Team Development: Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate food and kitchenware orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Chef to create new menu items and refine existing ones.
  • Service Standards: Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds our high standards of quality and service.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Proven track record of working as a head line cook, sous chef, or chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to delegate tasks effectively, motivate team members, and lead by example.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines; ability to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
