ER Technician

Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled ER Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, maintain a clean and safe environment, and perform various clerical duties.

• Obtain patient registration information and enter it into the computer system.
• Perform order entry, including entering orders, charges, and reprinting orders.
• Assume responsibility for the admitting process, including checking emergency department supplies and restocking as needed.
• Perform ER tech skills competently, including vital signs, EKGs, bandaging, and setting up oxygen.
• Assist in room readiness and facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Perform phlebotomies as directed by RNs and maintain general appearance of the Emergency Department.
• Display analytical and problem-solving skills, communicating problems to managers as needed.
• Follow all time and attendance policies and attend educational programs related to job responsibilities.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous medical background and/or EMS training preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment, collaborating with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.

Nuvance Health offers a competitive salary range of $16.00 - $29.51 per hour, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
