Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of general and specialized housekeeping duties, including cleaning patient rooms, public areas, and staff spaces.
  • Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and carpet extractors.
  • Follow established Medical Center-Hospital Wide Policies and Procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
  • Participate in educational programs and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient cleaning process.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
  • 1 year of previous hospital housekeeping experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written English instructions.
  • OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk) certification.
Benefits
