Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Electrical Systems Technician is tasked with aiding initiatives that enhance client control systems and manufacturing processes to boost Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), implement new machinery, and/or deliver urgent support to diagnose and rectify client issues promptly. This role involves constructing tailored control panels utilized in various control systems and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble control panels based on engineering and electrical schematics.
  2. Perform localized wiring of control panels and devices on machinery.
  3. Assist Controls Engineer and Project Engineers with diverse tasks and projects.
  4. Support on-site installations alongside Controls Engineer and Project Engineers.
  5. Provide troubleshooting and repair assistance on the manufacturing floor.

The responsibilities listed above encompass, but are not limited to, the following sub-tasks:

· Work will be divided between in-house/shop floor and client locations to execute assignments and ensure client satisfaction.

· Associate's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, coupled with three years of relevant experience, or five years of experience in a related field.

· Previous roles requiring direct client interaction to resolve issues are preferred.

· Proficient in CAD software.

· Skilled in electrical troubleshooting.

· Basic understanding of PLC/HMI programming and motion control.

· Familiarity with control panel design and layout.
