Mortgage Loan Officer Job Description

Coldwell Banker Premier is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to handle company leads and serve emerging markets. The successful candidate will interview customers to collect and analyze financial information, advise on mortgage products, and select the appropriate loan program.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Interview customer(s) and secure complete loan applications before or within 3 days of purchase agreement.
  2. Review leads daily and contact borrowers via telephone and email to obtain loan applications.
  3. Recommend mortgage loan products to customers based on their financial needs.
  4. Achieve loan decisions within five days of loan application.
  5. Participate in in-house relationship-building functions.
  6. Be accessible to buyers and associates, returning calls the same day.

Qualifications and Skills
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • NMLS license in one of the following states: VA, MD, WV, DE, PA, FL, TX.
  • One to two years of experience as a Loan Officer, or willingness to train.
  • General financial industry experience.
  • Ability to maintain flexible work schedules.
