Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position for a seasoned IT Support Specialist, responsible for providing technical assistance for desktop systems (Windows), mobile devices (Apple/Android), printers, and wireless/LAN network components. Key responsibilities include validating issues, performing initial troubleshooting, and facilitating the timely resolution of technical problems. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for this role.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to desktop systems and printers (e.g., Windows 10/11).
  • Familiarity with Lenovo hardware and Windows operating system configurations, along with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Strong understanding of wireless networking, switching, and routing, enabling effective user support.
  • Capability to assist end-users with various operating systems and software applications.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Skill in asking pertinent questions and prioritizing requests to ensure prompt escalation to senior support teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience in IT consulting or managed services is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications such as Meraki Cloud, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with wireless networking is a plus.
