We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech and Debate Educator to join our team at Success Academy. As a Speech and Debate Educator, you will be responsible for building a classroom culture that fosters a love for public speaking and debate among our scholars.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that challenge scholars to excel in public speaking and debate.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to build a world-class speech and debate program that aligns with our school's mission and values.
  • Prepare scholars to compete in rigorous city, state, and national competitions, while emphasizing the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in speech and debate education.
  • Provide targeted feedback and coaching to scholars to help them improve their public speaking and debate skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in speech and debate, either as a competitor or coach.
  • Passion for public speaking and debate, with a commitment to helping scholars develop their skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with scholars, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
