**Job Summary**
Marvel Consultants is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Nurse Director of Case Management to lead our case management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage the Case Management Budget: Oversee the annual care management budget and ensure that it is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead the Case Management Team: Supervise and mentor a team of 25 case managers and social workers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals.
- Monitor and Report on Changes in Regulations: Stay up-to-date on changes in Medicare regulations and documentation issues, and communicate these changes to physicians and other stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain Relationships with Key Stakeholders: Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as other key stakeholders, to ensure that our organization is meeting its contractual obligations.
Requirements:
- Licensed RN with BSN: Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and be licensed as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in Case Management: Must have at least 5 years of experience in hospital discharge planning, utilization review, case management, and social work, with management experience.
- RN-BC Certification: Must have the RN-BC Certification in Care Management.
