We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Beautiful Autism LLC. As an Occupational Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support for daily functional skills, sensory integration, and fine/gross motor planning to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial client evaluations and occupational profiles to identify strengths and barriers to participation, and develop comprehensive plans of care.
- Create and update treatment goals in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Provide weekly or as-needed sessions for clients, offering support and education to families as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to establish goals and plans of care based on assessment data.
- Deliver high-quality treatment to reach identified goals, monitoring and documenting client progress as necessary.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families, working collaboratively with all team members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and necessary insurance documentation.
- Schedule therapy sessions and manage cancellations efficiently.
- Embody a self-motivated and independent work ethic, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Perform other essential duties that support the clinic, such as cleaning, as needed.
- Be prepared to take on all job duties, dressed professionally and appropriately, with a commitment to ongoing professional and personal development.
- Be open and flexible to changes that will inevitably arise as Beautiful Autism LLC evolves.
- Be receptive to feedback and willing to provide constructive feedback to others.
- Be prepared to perform specific duties related to the day-to-day business functioning of Beautiful Autism LLC, such as cleaning, as needed.
