Job Summary

Midland Community Healthcare Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Clerk to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to maintain confidentiality and security of medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify medical records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Retrieve and prepare medical records for appointments and reviews.
  • Maintain and update patient records in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process patient record requests and maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform cross-training in various areas to support the clinic's operations.
  • Distribute mail and faxes within the clinic.
  • Monitor printers for lab results and ensure timely delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the clinic's goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of medical office experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen test.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to interact with patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner. The employee will be required to lift, push, and move equipment and files as needed. Reasonable accommodations will be made for employees with disabilities.
