Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and providing response to intervention for the needs of each student.
Responsibilities- Assess, screen, and evaluate students to identify communication and learning needs
- Develop and implement IEPs for students, reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Establish a positive learning environment and provide response to intervention for the needs of each student
- Collaborate with parents and the school interdisciplinary team to share results and develop strategies for student success
- Masters degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelors degree
- Texas SLP License
- American Heart Association BLS
- School experience is preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
- Competitive hourly rate
