Job Description

ECC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Environmental Intern. This part-time position will provide administrative support for our Operations team on a project basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing project administrative and/or field support work, utilizing their subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in a variety of administrative matters
  • Verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Compiling information

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues in multiple locations
  • Skilled in managing large volumes of detailed information accurately
  • Adept at responding to critical requests, limited turnaround times, and demanding deadlines
  • Intermediate knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, and internet

Travel:

Must be able to work on-site at project location and travel as required to meet project needs.

Education:

This position requires a high school diploma and must be currently enrolled as a second, third, or fourth year student in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's degree in a Business discipline, Environmental, Science field or Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship experience at ECC
