Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the educational process towards achieving curriculum objectives and implementing personalized learning strategies for students.
  • Encourages students to reach their maximum potential through engaging classroom activities, constructive assignments, and meaningful feedback; maintains high expectations while being sensitive to diverse abilities and readiness levels.
  • Exhibits outstanding classroom management techniques, including effective questioning to foster independent learning; clear communication and direction; creating an atmosphere of mutual respect, independent thought, and engaging experiences for both students and teachers in various group settings.
  • Demonstrates genuine care for students in an environment characterized by high expectations for both personal and academic growth.
  • Establishes a classroom climate based on principles of fairness, consistency, and responsible citizenship.
  • Takes ownership of personal development and professional growth; contributes to a collaborative learning community both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned by school leadership.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized classroom, involving students in its upkeep.

Job Objective: The primary aim of a teacher is to inspire and empower students to achieve their fullest potential. Educators strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere where students feel valued, motivated, and challenged. They seek to instill a love for learning, promote critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and provide the necessary guidance and resources for student success. Through effective teaching, personalized support, and meaningful engagement, educators aim to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their educational pursuits.

Essential Skills and Qualifications: While we welcome a diverse range of backgrounds, the ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid teaching certification with endorsements in relevant grade and subject areas, in accordance with state education department regulations.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and an alternative pathway, which includes passing the relevant certification tests for endorsements in appropriate grade and subject levels.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology as an instructional tool, for analyzing academic performance data, and for facilitating effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills using standard grammar and vocabulary.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Recent teaching experience or coursework in primary education.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary instructional strategies suitable for the specified grade level.
  • Desire and capability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and varying abilities to help them achieve their educational objectives.
