Client Relations Specialist

Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will establish connections and provide a diverse array of financial products and services to our varied clientele. Our customers rely on us for prompt and dependable financial solutions, and your expertise in cash handling, meticulous attention to detail, and professional interaction with customers and colleagues in a dynamic environment will reflect our mission while enhancing your career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Accurately review, validate, and process customer transactions, including check cashing, money transfers, and payments.
- Proactively enhance customer satisfaction by providing tailored financial services that align with their needs.
- Enter and maintain customer data with accuracy and integrity in our Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Generate new business through daily inbound and outbound call campaigns.
- Support customer account management and collections by processing payments and coordinating customer appointments.
- Ensure the store's internal and external appearance meets cleanliness standards to improve the customer experience.
- Uphold security protocols and execute proper opening and closing procedures, including managing the vault and cash drawer.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about our evolving products and processes.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks to meet individual and team performance goals.
- Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends. A full-time schedule for this role typically encompasses a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately input data.
- Proficient in using telecommunication devices, Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Background check required (subject to applicable law).
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, moving up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, or money order processing.
- Prior experience in cash handling and cash drawer/vault management.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is advantageous and may be necessary for specific locations.
