Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct in-home assessments for speech therapy and provide regular therapy sessions.
  2. Design and execute therapy plans aimed at enhancing or restoring speech and language capabilities.
  3. Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and services rendered to clients and their families.
  4. Educate clients and relevant family members about the comprehensive treatment plan, ensuring effective Family Training when necessary.
  5. Perform initial assessments for new clients and periodic evaluations for ongoing clients.
  6. Adhere to federal and state regulations to uphold licensure, including completing necessary continuing education units.
  7. Engage in meetings with clients, family members, and other professionals as required.
  8. Maintain open communication with the therapy services administrative team.
  9. Regularly update the physician regarding the client's treatment progress and collaborate on any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.
  10. Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and training sessions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Active state SLP license
  • Current ASHA certification
  • Valid state driver's license

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech & Language Pathologist in a healthcare environment.
