Job Summary

At Panoramic Inc, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a 2nd shift role. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing various functions to ensure the safety, quality, efficiency, and scrap goals of the company are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve scissor lift certification and operate scissor lift to ensure safe and efficient movement of personnel and equipment.
  • Achieve forklift certification and operate forklift to transport materials and equipment throughout the facility.
  • Achieve lockout/tagout certification to ensure safe shutdown and maintenance of equipment.
  • Setup and operate equipment and/or tools needed to perform preventive maintenance tasks and corrective repairs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities on production equipment, production support equipment, building and grounds to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Keep record of preventive maintenance activities performed to track and analyze maintenance history.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues with production equipment, production support equipment, building and grounds to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Assist in performing corrective repairs to production equipment, production support equipment, building and grounds to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Keep record of corrective repairs to production equipment, production support equipment, building and grounds to track and analyze maintenance history.
  • Conduct routine inspection of premises and equipment to identify and address potential safety hazards and maintenance needs.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a safe work area to ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist in training and development of maintenance personnel to ensure knowledge and skills are up-to-date and aligned with company standards.
  • Assist with all other duties as assigned to support the maintenance department and company goals.
Requirements
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and basic electrical repair to perform maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematic diagrams to understand equipment design and operation.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions to follow safety protocols and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to perform intermediate math skills to calculate and apply maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to take initiative and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated mechanical skills/aptitude to perform maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Experience with computer programs to track and analyze maintenance history and perform other administrative tasks.
  • Post-secondary education and/or technical trade certificate to demonstrate knowledge and skills in maintenance and repair.
