Job Summary:

The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are functioning properly to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair lift trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, including hydraulic systems, motor replacements, and basic programming for access modules.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, including electrical and mechanical components, and fabricate machine parts as necessary.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the facility, including minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Repair and maintain racking systems as needed.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as scrubbers and sweepers.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and productivity standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in operating various tools and equipment, including band saws, drill presses, and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and controls.

Working Conditions:

  • Work may involve physical tasks in confined spaces and under varying climatic conditions.
  • Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
  • Exposure to noise and heights in a fast-paced environment.
