Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of DFARS safeguarding protocols for unclassified controlled technical information.
  • Proficient in managing network infrastructure components, including firewalls, proxies, routers, switches, and IDS/IPS systems.
  • Experience with scripting languages.
  • Solid grasp of incident response methodologies.
  • Proven experience in conducting vulnerability assessments.
  • Understanding of network traffic principles, including ports, protocols, and services.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, DNS, and Active Directory.
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearance as mandated by contractual obligations.

Educational Background and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in cybersecurity operations.
  • Possession of IAT Level II Certification.
