Principal Technical Product Manager, Platform Software, Ring Application Platforms

As a Principal Technical Product Manager on the Ring Application Platform Team, you will be responsible for owning and driving multiple software services and platforms as products. This role is inherently cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with HW/FW/SW engineering, product design, security, legal, privacy, customer experience facing product leaders, devices teams, and executive teams to envision, develop, and launch innovative platforms to be leveraged by millions of devices.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the entire product life cycle from inception to launch
- Drive the development of the strategy, roadmap, and business plan for your product areas while working with various teams
- Be a passionate advocate for the customer; understand and articulate customer needs, conduct ongoing customer research, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize market requirements
- Inspire the team with the product vision, and work cross-functionally to bring that vision to life
- Write requirements documents, define use cases and CX, and own the business metrics and KPIs for your products, services, and platform
- Drive product launches, including working with public relations, marketing, executives, and other product management team members
- Serve as the product expert, assisting marketing with press briefing, industry talks, and white papers

Requirements- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Direct experience with building and scaling cloud-based external and internal facing services
