We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's St. Clair hospital in Pell City, AL.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care to patients in a diverse healthcare environment, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating with members of the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessing and coordinating patient care needs, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and communicating patient condition as appropriate.
- Coordinate with members of the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including serving as a coordinator of all disciplines.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including note and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
- Additional Preferences: Critical Care or ED experience preferred.
