Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient condition, and communicate with healthcare team members as needed.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.
- Communicate Effectively: Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and communicate with patients and families to ensure their needs are met.
- Licensure and Certification: Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing, and one or more of the following: Advanced Life Support or BLS Provider certification.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
