ACLS/PALS Training Specialist

Position Overview:
Atlantic Mobile Health is in search of a dedicated ACLS/PALS Training Specialist to join our team on a Per Diem basis at the Atlantic Training Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all AAC/AHS policies and educational standards, as well as those set by regulatory bodies (e.g., AHA, NJ OEMS, NAEMT).
- Exhibit strong instructional abilities and respond effectively to the needs and concerns of students; adjust teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Be prepared to travel to various course locations within the communities served by Atlantic Health System.
- Arrive punctually and ready for all scheduled courses; maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to the dress code of the Atlantic Training Center.
- Uphold confidentiality regarding student progress and outcomes; promptly report any student-related issues to the Lead or Coordinator.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and submit it along with payments to the Coordinator in a timely manner.
- Ensure the security of training equipment and instructional materials; perform proper cleaning and restocking of equipment after each session.
- Participate in scheduled instructor meetings and engage in required updates.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable environment to enhance operational efficiency and deliver education that positively impacts patient outcomes in the community.
- Work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with supervisors, colleagues, and both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Recent clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or field settings is preferred.
- Prior experience as an educator or instructor is preferred, particularly in ACLS/PALS training.
- A valid driver's license with an unrestricted driving record is necessary; must be capable of lifting 45 lbs.
