We are seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Paramedic to join our Atlantic Mobile Health Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing emergency medical services to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support procedures in accordance with Atlantic Health System policies and New Jersey State Department of Health regulations.
- Maintain MICU vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Ensure proper completion and distribution of run forms and documentation for patient care procedures and statistics.
- Operate MICU vehicles in emergency and non-emergency situations, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Participate in hospital public relations programs and attend staff meetings and mandatory training sessions.
- Comply with recertification guidelines and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
- Perform approved skills under N.J.A.C. 8:41, as directed by a physician, and record treatment on patient charts.
- Meet NJAC 8:41 requirements for EMS/MICU training and certification within 30 days of employment.
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED, and a recognized paramedic didactic program or RN with MICN endorsement from NJOEMS.
- Hold current NJ MICU certification or obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Valid Driver's License with an unrestricted driving record.
- ACLS/PALS or BTLS certification, with instructor certifications preferred.
- ICS 100, 200, 700, HazMat Awareness, and CEVO completion within 6 months of employment.
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or ITLS Certification preferred.
- 1-3 years of prior paramedic experience preferred.
