Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax and business needs.
- Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients, including tax planning and audit support.
- Conduct tax interviews with clients, both in-person and virtually, using video conferencing and chat tools.
- Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention through the sale of additional products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and complete continuing education requirements to maintain expertise.
- 5+ years of tax experience, including experience completing individual tax returns and tax planning.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients in person and virtually.
- Comfort working with virtual tools, including video conferencing and chat.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1 or equivalent.
